According to Taiwanese media outlet ET Today, actor Kim Soo Hyun's scheduled appearance at the '2025 Sakura Festival' in Kaohsiung, Taiwan is now up in the air.

Kim Soo Hyun was originally scheduled to appear at a fan meeting hosted by 7-Eleven Taiwan on March 30 local time. The event was set to include special packages, cups, and cup sleeves featuring Kim Soo Hyun, a photo wall, as well as a fan meeting with 200 lucky fans.

However, the actor's attendance is now up in the air following his latest controversy involving his ex-lover, the late Kim Sae Ron. A representative of 7-Eleven Taiwan stated, "Currently, the event is still planned, but should any changes occur, we intend to respond promptly while considering the rights of our consumers."

If Kim Soo Hyun fails to attend, he may be facing cancellation fees of up to 30,000,000 NT$ (~ $900,000 USD).

ET Today estimated that Kim Soo Hyun was likely to cancel his appearance.
